"Quilting Tomorrow's Heritage Today".......Located just Southeast of Houston, in La Porte on Galveston Bay, we are near NASA and Space Center Houston, the Kemah waterfront and boardwalk, cruise lines to Mexico, and convenient to Houston-Hobby Airport, and travelers on Interstates 10 and 45.

Selected as one of Quilt Sampler magazine's featured shops in 1997, we were a long-time participant in the Annual Houston International Quilt Festival. Our 8500+ square feet houses a quilter's paradise of books, notions, patterns, quilt samples, and classroom, as well as Janome sewing machines and sergers, and select sewing furniture.

Thousands of bolts of fabric can be found in every nook and cranny in the 1930's/Happy Room, Rainbow/Civil War Reproduction Room, Batik/Blender Room, and Sale Room; also you'll find "every day deals" in the Machine area, and of course many inspiring samples hanging around the store. We offer Quilt Kits, original PP'nQ Patterns, and our exclusive sterling Quilter's Bell necklace, designed by owner Sherrie.

We support The Weekly Bee, Apliquick Club, Scrappy Ladies Club, Houston-Bay Area Appliqué Stitchers, and a Hand Embroidery Bee - so, perhaps you'll find something that interests you. Or, you may just want to relax in our book nook and make a new friend!
